The Faeries of Carmylie Hill

Carmylie Hill was believed to be a favourite haunt of the faeries, who would spend every night, singing and dancing on the hillock in their finest fairy green clothing. The faerie folk didn’t need wings to fly, and travelled across the night sky on the winds to take part in their evening celebrations. Old stories tell of a castle that sunk entirely into the ground, while there’s other tales that tell of a treasure buried deep underground, sometimes seen but never grasped by human hands…
